Enjoy a Wonderful Easter With Your Family | Sandi Parkey, Pink Zebra Independent Consultant
I don’t know about you, but I am ready to enjoy a holiday with my loved ones! In fact, I am already planning the menu, the games and everything in between in order to make the celebration of this Easter as special as possible. What about you?
Take a journey with me in this blog as I start to think of ways to make this Easter the best one yet!
Mark Your Calendars for April 17
It is crazy to think we are already discussing Easter, as we have officially reached the month of April. Whether you are finished with spring-cleaning or still in the midst of it, Easter is the perfect time to stop and take a moment to plan a fun day for the entire family.
First things first…
The Egg Hunt
Can you really have an Easter party without an egg hunt? It is such a fun holiday tradition that everyone in the family can enjoy no matter what their age.
While younger kids tend to enjoy finding Easter eggs with candy in them, the older children would always go for an egg hunt that included eggs with money!
Of course, there was always that one grand prize egg that everyone had their sights on when hunting for Easter eggs.
There is also a new way to have an Easter egg hunt, which is by hiding eggs in a family member or friend’s yard for the children in the house. You then leave a bag saying “You’ve Been Egged” and list how many eggs they need to search for in their yard. This method of Easter egg hunting became even more popular during the pandemic.
Brunch Is Served
Another thing I enjoy about Easter is the food. While some holidays focus around dinner as the celebration meal, Easter tends to be more of a brunch, which I love.
For many, a traditional Easter feast includes cinnamon rolls, banana bread, ham, side dishes, salads and, of course, desserts—like carrot cake!
