Now that we’ve officially sprung into spring, do you feel ready? Not quite feeling it?

Get in the spring mood with a little spring-cleaning to get your house in shape. An organized house will give you the fresh start you’re looking for!

Have Your Spring-Cleaning Checklist Ready!

I love a good to-do list! There’s nothing quite like the satisfied feeling you get when you can mark items off the list.

Here are some ways I organize my checklist so that I am sure to tackle every room during the spring-cleaning season:

Curtains

While these beautiful decorations can certainly make a room, they can also collect dust like no one’s business.

As a result, you want to make sure you are taking the time to clean the curtains around your home, whether it be taking them down to deep-clean in the washing machine or simply just cleaning your pet’s fur off the lower part of the curtain.

While tackling the curtains, go ahead and take a microfiber cloth to the blinds, too! They are just as bad about collecting dust as the curtains.

Furniture

There is no better time than spring-cleaning to also consider moving some furniture around. Not only can moving furniture help to give your space a new feel and look, but it can also help to make sure you are really cleaning those spots that are usually neglected.

Even if you don’t decide to rearrange the furniture in the room, it is still best to move furniture while cleaning so that you are able to give the room the TLC cleaning it needs and deserves!

Fridge

You are cleaning and reorganizing the rest of your kitchen—why not the fridge, too? Your fridge is used for food storage. Wouldn’t it be best to have your food living in a clean space?

Plus, how many times have you bought too much of one thing because you didn’t see it in the fridge? Organization is key to both saving money and knowing what you have to work with when cooking!
