How to Plan for a Spring Party | Sandi Parkey Pink Zebra Independent Consultant
The first official day of spring is March 19, and I don’t know about you, but I am already antsy to throw my first party of the spring season!
Let’s take a look at ways we can get back outside and enjoy the warmer weather this season by throwing the ultimate spring bash:
Spring Into Party Planning
One of the first things you want to do is check your calendar for the perfect date, time and venue to host your spring gathering.
Personally, I enjoy spring parties at home, as they can provide a more intimate, relaxed setting for friends and family. However, if you would rather host a party outside of the home, you want to make sure you have a venue in place before setting the date and time.
Second, you want to get your guest list together. Is this going to be a spring gathering where everyone—friends and family—are invited? Or are you just wanting to invite your girlfriends over for a day of fun and laughter? Nail down who you’re inviting.
Finally, it is time to set everything in motion when it comes to food and decorations. Since the spring season tends to be all about bright colors, consider using colorful flowers as centerpieces and allowing the natural light to set the mood by setting up the gathering outside in the backyard.
In addition, take advantage of local, fresh produce by creating appetizers around the fruits and vegetables of the season. A pasta salad and a veggie tray of colorful produce are some of the favorites of the season—plus, they are really easy to make!
Also, don’t let your guests leave empty-handed. Whether it is gifting your favorite Pink Zebra Sprinkle spring scent or offering the floral center pieces as party favors, you want to make sure to end your spring gathering on a high note!
