Celebrating Valentine’s Day the Foodie Way
Are you still wondering what to do for Valentine’s Day this month?
Let’s start with how you can make it a day to remember by the meals you serve for your loved ones:
Breakfast
Consider starting your loved one’s Valentine’s Day off with pink pancakes or even a waffle bar that includes delicious foods like strawberries as a topping!
If your loved ones like to keep it simple for breakfast, you could always create an oatmeal dish that includes the color red in the form of strawberries or raspberries.
Lunch
When packing your kids’ lunches, think about how you can make it Valentine’s Day-themed. You can cut their sandwich into the shape of a heart, or you could cut strawberries into the shape of a heart that they can put in their yogurt!
In addition, you can give them red applesauce, chocolate-covered strawberries or even veggies cut into the shape of a heart! Of course, don’t forget to throw in a little love note to your children wishing them a happy Valentine’s Day.
Dinner
Make it a Valentine’s Day dinner to remember in the comfort of your own home by creating the perfect setting with heart confetti and heart-shaped placemats.
Then, create heart-shaped calzones with a strawberry spinach salad on the side to really have everyone enjoying the Valentine’s Day dinner!
