What Are You Getting Dad for Father's Day? | Sandi Parkey Pink Zebra Independent Consultant
“Even when a father and child live miles apart, each is close to the other’s heart.”
Now that June has arrived, it is time to start thinking about ways you are going to celebrate dad. But what do you get the man in your life who has everything?
Let’s take a look at ways you can celebrate dad this Father’s Day and make him feel special.
Making Memories for Father’s Day
There are plenty of ways you can make memories with your dad this Father’s Day.
First, have you ever considered throwing a scavenger hunt for your dad? If your dad is one who likes a little mystery, then this is the perfect way to spend the day with him. Plus, it can even be something fun you can do right at home!
Second, you could take movie night to a new level. Create a backyard movie night by using a white table cloth as a screen and grabbing a projector.
Be sure to pick movies your dad enjoys! It will mean a lot to him that you chose movies to watch that he likes and even included his favorite movie snacks.
Better yet, before the movie at dark, grill up the perfect feast for dad with his favorite foods!
If the weather is nice, you can take your dad out to enjoy some of his favorite hobbies, such as golf. Now that things are starting to open back up, golf can also be a great way to spend time with dad outside while staying socially distanced from everyone. Or head to a ball game to watch the local team play!
Finally, if nothing else, use the day to spend time together. Whether you’re sharing stories, playing a game of cards or even building a birdhouse together, the main thing is that you take the time to spend with your dad. That is honestly what is going to mean the most to him!
