Let freedom ring—and the red, white and blue decor shine!
Whether you are looking to decorate your home in time for a Fourth of July celebration with family and/or friends, or you are simply wanting to show your patriotic spirit for the month, I have some tips to help you when decorating your home.
Fun Ways to Decorate for the Fourth of July
There are a number of ways you can add some fun holiday decor inside and outside of your home.
First, when it comes to plants, consider switching the pots for something more patriotic, by painting some flower pots red, white, and blue. Better yet, have the kids join in on the painting of the flower pots. They would have so much fun painting stars and stripes!
Second, bring out the bandanas! Not only are bandanas awesome hair accessories, but they can also make for fun napkin ring holders, garland and festive cushions. You could even use bandanas for pot coverings for your plants if you want to mix things up.
Finally, mason jars can be your best friend when it comes to different ways to add a Fourth of July vibe to your summer decor. From lantern jars to parfait and/or drink holders, mason jars are a great addition to any holiday party!
Can you still decorate for the Fourth of July without using red, white and blue? Of course! Consider using colors along the scale of gold and silver to enhance your holiday decor.
It can still help add a touch of holiday spirit into your weekend without the overkill of the red, white and blue. Burlap is also a fun decor idea when thinking outside the box with your Fourth of July decor.
